Want to learn how to play lacrosse? We will provide boys and girls from grades 2-8 a way to learn how to play the fastest game on 2 feet and the fastest growing sport in the country! Each program will consist of skill development, drills, and fun scrimmaging. Except for a mouthpiece all gear will be provided by Hoosier Lacrosse in this non contact instructional program. The Learn To Play program teaches basic team concepts and the necessary stick fundamentals. Once you are done with the program you will then be ready for the next level!
Format: Gender neutral Instructional program with skills, drills and scrimmaging. We provide the sticks and use soft rubber balls. Boys will use boys sticks and girls will use girls sticks. This a great way for boys and girls, who are new to the sport, to learn the basics of lacrosse.
How will we teach the sport? Players will learn through progressive instruction of fundamental skills and exciting game play in a fun and safe atmosphere. Hoosier Lacrosse will implement our proven method of explanation, imitation, repetition, and Implementation.
