Director - Ken Levinberg
Ken Levinberg started playing lacrosse in 1981 as freshmen at the Illinois powerhouse New Trier High School in Winnetka Illinois.

In college Coach Ken founded and was a 4 year starter and captain of the Illinois State University Lacrosse Team. Because the team was new and lacked in experienced players Coach Ken used this opportunity to begin his long career in coaching by successfully learning and playing all the positions on the lacrosse field while teaching his fellow teammates about the game of lacrosse.

After college he continued to play for the highly competitive post collegiate team Lincoln Park from 1990 until moving to Indiana in 2009. While in Illinois he had been the JV coach for Glenbrook North & Highland Park High Schools. In 1999 & 2000 he was selected to coach Team Illinois Varsity, which had winning tournament records at the Vail Colorado tournament. Ken biggest accomplishment was to be one of a handful of dedicated coaches and lacrosse enthusiasts that grew Illinois lacrosse from just a handful of high school teams to a state sanctioned sport with over 8,000 male and female participants currently playing at all levels from 1st grade thru adult. Many of the players he worked with went on to play lacrosse at the highest levels including the pro level.

After marrying his wife Jaime, who played lacrosse at North Central HS and Indiana University, they decided to relocate to Indiana. Coach Ken quickly got involved in the local lacrosse scene and in 2009 he founded Hoosier Lacrosse and was hired as the head varsity coach at Guerin Catholic HS. He is also a certified US lacrosse Level 1 coach and member of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Coach Ken is extremely excited to help grow the sport here in Indiana and is excited with the enthusiasm by the players and their parents.

He currently is going into his third season as a captain at nearby Butler University, and is one of the co founders of the team after the unfortunate removal of the varsity program from the athletic dept in Jan of 2006.
