Alex found lacrosse in 6 th grade after one of his friends convinced him that it was more fun than baseball. After his first practice, Alex was hooked and never looked back. Alex would go on to be an All-state player and 3x time team captain for his East Lansing High School Trojans. The exposure he obtained through playing lacrosse for the Champion Lacrosse and Team Total summer teams earned him a scholarship to play at NCAA Division II Florida Institute of Technology. Alex started on attack as a Freshman before moving to midfield for his Sophomore and Junior seasons. Due to an injury sustained at the end of his Junior season, Alex was unable to play during his Senior season, yet remained with the team to assist the coaches. During his senior year, Alex helped his coaches by writing scouting reports for upcoming opponents, assisting with carrying out the practice plan and running the substitution box during games. Following his senior season, Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Tech with a B.S. Degree in Psychology and is now a Special Education teacher on the south side of Indianapolis while working towards his Master’s degree at Marian University. Alex is thrilled to bring his passion for the game to Hoosier Lacrosse!
