Brian Anken Named New VMI Head Lacrosse Coach

Brian Anken has been named the new head coach of VMI lacrosse, Athletic Director Donny White announced Friday. Anken comes to VMI from Lycoming College in Pennsylvania, where he was the head coach.

Lenoir-Rhyne University has announced the hiring of Andi Gitelson as its first-ever women's lacrosse head coach. Men's and women's lacrosse will begin competing on the intercollegiate level at L-R in 2010-2011. Gitelson was the head coach of the Indiana University's club team for the 2003-2004 and 2007-2008 academic years and served as club advisor from 2007 to 2010.

Rutgers head coach Jim Stagnitta announced that Errol Wilson and Rob Cross have been added to his coaching staff. Wilson will take over as the associate head coach, replacing Jim Rogalski, who left RU to take the head coaching job at Scranton, while Cross will serve as an assistant coach, replacing Jason Basso.

National Online Lacrosse Tournament: Round 2

The teams were seeded by power rating on an S-curve to create tournament brackets and winners were determined based on votes from a panel of LaxPower experts and the LaxPower Power Rankings.
